The IN-BOX range of wall-mounted and table top enclosures by OKW Gehäusesysteme continues to grow. In addition to the existing sizes, further versions with transparent covers are now available in the standard range. The IN-BOX is ideal for robust applications in the electronics sector, the smart factory as well as in electrical installations, e.g. as a control and monitoring device in heating, air conditioning and ventilation technology, in machine and plant construction and in safety engineering.

In these high-quality terminal and electronics enclosures, the seals are firmly foamed in and are available from stock in 3 different material combinations:

  • Top and bottom parts made of ABS in the colour light grey (RAL 7035) - protection classes IP66/67, impact strength IK07
  • Bottom part made of ABS in light grey (RAL 7035), top part made of transparent polycarbonate - protection classes IP66/67, impact strength IK07
  • Top and bottom parts made of PC in the colour light grey (RAL 7035) - protection classes IP66/67, impact strength IK08

In all versions, 9 basic enclosures are available in widths of 82 mm (84 - 162 long), 122 mm (124 - 202 long), 152 mm (202 long), 162 (252 long) and 232 mm (302 long). This extensive enclosure portfolio has now been extended by 16 additional versions (same size ratios) with a bottom part made of PC (light grey) and a transparent PC top part. From stock, each IN-BOX has integrated fastening pillars for PCBs, DIN rails, mounting plates and component parts. A recessed control panel is located on the top surface to protect membrane keyboards. The individual parts of the enclosure are installed very efficiently using a quick-release fastener made of high-quality stainless steel. To protect the enclosures from unauthorised access, an optional sealing set is available in the accessories range.

The IN-BOX can be used both on the table and as a wall-mounted unit. Wall mounting can be carried out directly in the bottom part or with external wall brackets (as accessories). The range of accessories also includes: standard rails, mounting plates, cable guides and pressure equalisation elements. The latter offer a high air flow rate to protect sensitive electronics.
