Control element for respiratory assistance apparatus

Our heart beats for premature infants and newborns

We focus all our commitment and knowledge on lung-protective solutions for respiratory support in order to provide the best possible relief for hospital staff. With our innovations we contribute to the survival of these tiny patients and support the smoothest possible start in life.

We have developed and produced nCPAP systems and consumables for premature infants and newborns for clinical use in the delivery room, intensive care ward and during transportation, for over 20 years now.
We are the only manufacturer to offer solutions and products for the complete range of non-invasive respiratory support for premature infants and newborns. We provide you wit a large, comprehensive and coordinated toolbox for the NIV therapy of your little patients, from CPAP through assisted respiratory support to non-invasive HFV.

Since 2014 medin has been part of the Swiss company Hamilton Medical, which manufactures equipment and consumables for the ventilation of critically ill patients - from premature infants to adults. Hamilton Medical is managed by the second and third generations of the Hamilton family. The family vision has always been to put technology at the service of humanity. To turn this vision into reality, the company is committed to a long-term strategy that benefits patients and clinical staff instead of focusing on short-term profit.

medinCNO® is a versatile nCPAP device which is used for respiratory support of premature infants and newborns. In conjunction with Medijet®, the compact device is a stand-alone system and meets all the requirements of non-invasive nCPAP therapy. With five modes, medinCNO® offers comprehensive non-invasive support in neonatology and is the only nCPAP device with nHFV.

medinCNOmini® offers the basic nCPAP and high-flow functions of a modern CPAP device. The device also has a special ApneaCPAP mode. With the help of the MediTRIG respiratory trigger, spontaneous breathing is recorded near the patient and without additional sensors. MediTRIG can be individually adapted to the spontaneous breathing of the patient. In the case of apnea, the patient’s inspiration is stimulated through automatically activated mechanical breaths.
