The innovative wall-mounted and desktop series DIATEC was recently enhanced by two practical new sizes. DIATEC has an unobtrusive, flat design, which gives an aesthetically attractive appearance to modern control and regulation centres. The control panel is located centrally and forms the main focus of the design and, together with the rounded side panels, it forms a self-contained unit.

Biodegradable plastics
"Renewable raw materials - the future for plastic enclosures"

On request, Odenwälder Kunststoffwerke Gehäusesysteme GmbH now also offers its design-oriented standard enclosures and tuning knobs in a bioplastic material. This biomaterial is entirely manufactured from renewable raw materials and in many applications can replace the fossil plastics used up to now. Unlike conventional raw materials, bioplastics are largely CO2-neutral, irrespective of their subsequent utilisation. After they have been used, materials made from plants release only the same amount of CO2 as they absorbed from the atmosphere during their growth phase.
